TERMS OF SERVICE

This website is an official website of Monevo Limited (“we” or “us”).

You should read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy carefully before using this website. Using the website indicates that you accept these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the website.

Any use of the website other than in accordance with these Terms is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend access to the Website without notice to you should we have grounds to believe that the Terms have been breached.

Our website is completely free for you to use but we may receive a fee or commission from our lender panel for introducing you to them. Any fee or commission will not be added to your loan advance.

We are an Appointed Representative of Quint Group Limited (“Quint”), and are entered on the Financial Services Register under reference number: 723672. Quint is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and is entered on the Financial Services Register under reference number: 669450. Monevo is registered in the UK with its registered office at Oxford House, Oxford Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 8HS. We are Licenced by the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number Z1498441). 

THE SERVICE WE PROVIDE TO YOU

We offer an online service to our customers. Our service involves processing your application and taking steps to introduce you to a lender or other credit provider on our panel according to your request (“our Service”).

If you wish for us to provide you with our Service then you will be entering into an agreement with us and accepting these Terms. We also acknowledge our own obligations under this agreement as explained below.

These Terms are personal between us and you – if a third party uses this service on your behalf, then we will have no obligation to them but the Terms will still be binding on you.

You must be a UK resident and over 18 years old to use our Service.

OUR SERVICE LIMITATIONS

We are a credit broker and not a lender - we will not provide a loan or any other credit product direct to you.

We cannot and will not advise you as to the suitability of any of the products of our lender partners. It is for you to decide whether any loan/credit product is suitable for you.

The decision to offer any loan/credit product or any other financial service is made by the lender or credit provider. We have no control over the decision making. The lender or credit provider will conduct an assessment on you before any decision or offer is made; this will include a full assessment of your credit history past and present.

Representative examples

Unless the results show that you have been “Pre-Approved” (see section below), any examples of amounts available to borrow, the repayment period or representative rates (rep APRs) stated on our website are purely given as a representative example relating to the product. These representative examples are stated to give you an understanding of the products available. Representative examples are not given as a figure of what you will actually be offered by the lender/credit provider. Accordingly, they cannot be given as a guarantee nor can they be used as any kind of warranty. As we do not provide the loan or financial service directly we are unable to control the representative rate examples contained on our website.

“Pre-approved”

If your results show that a lender has pre-approved you for a loan this means they have conducted a soft search of your credit file and there is a good chance they will lend to you. The rates you see will be the rates you will get subject to the lender’s further checks. Pre-approval does not guarantee you a loan. All loans are subject to lender/credit provider requirements and approval.

Information provided by our lender partners

If you decide to proceed with your application for a loan with one of our lender partners, we ask that you read the information provided by them carefully before deciding to proceed with the loan or other credit product.

CUSTOMER CHECKS AND REFERENCING

Initial eligibility checks may involve a soft search of your credit report. The search will be visible to you but not to other lenders - there will be no impact on your credit file/score at this stage. Our lender partners may subsequently conduct a hard search, prior to finalising your loan offer. This hard search would stay on your report for 12 months.

Credit checks and credit reference agencies can also help prevent fraudulent applications.

By agreeing to these Terms, you agree to us using your Personal Data for the purpose of validating your identity, assessing eligibility and preventing fraud.

THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all the information you provide to us is true, accurate, complete and not misleading.

We will rely on the information you provide to provide our Service – if it is not accurate then this could lead to your results and any product displayed being invalid. Inaccurate information is also likely to breach any agreement you enter into with a lender or credit provider.

Misleading information may also result in the instigation of criminal procedures against you.

If you choose to make a joint application for a loan/credit product via our website, the Terms will apply to each individual and we will provide the Service on the basis that both applicants agree to these Terms. If correspondence is entered into with one party of the joint application it shall be assumed that the communication is with both parties.

PRIVACY POLICY

We will only process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

COMMUNICATION

As part of our Service, we will send you electronic communications (emails and SMS) and may contact you by live, telephone calls relating to the products you’ve requested and relating to any application(s) that you have made. This is a service offered by default, for free and is part of our Service.

You may also receive these types of communications from any providers that we introduce you to, dependent on their policy. This communication may continue for the term of your product or service requested to ensure your continued satisfaction.

USAGE OF OUR WEBSITE AND CUSTOMER ACCESS

We reserve the right to amend or remove the Service that we provide without giving any prior notice to do so. We cannot be held liable if our website is unavailable to access for any given period of time.

Though we try and keep the information up to date, there may be a time delay before we can do so. We may update and change the content of our website at any time. If we are updating our website access may be suspended completely.

Unless otherwise stated, the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material on this website is either owned by us or we have a licence to use from a third party partner. It is protected by the copyright laws of the United Kingdom. You may not republish, store or reproduce any such information in any manner, including but not limited to electronic reproduction, without the prior written consent of us.

MATERIAL USED ON THIS WEBSITE

Any unauthorised downloading, retransmission, or other copying or modification of any of the contents of this website may be in breach of statutory or common law rights which could be the subject of legal action. We disclaim all liability which may result from any unauthorised reproduction or use of the information on this website.

LIABILITY

This section explains how we exclude or limit our liability to you for any losses suffered by you when we provide you with the Service under these Terms. Please read this section carefully.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any duties or liabilities we owe you under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 or the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Please note that we only provide our website for personal and not business use. You agree not to use our site for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:

  • You not being able to access the website (whether in whole or in part) or the Service not being available for any reason whatsoever;
  • Any inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you;

We are not responsible for and will not be liable for any loss or damage you suffer arising from any loans, credit products or any other products or services provided by one of our lender partners. These will be governed by their own terms and conditions provided by the lender partner.

We do not provide any guarantees in respect of your eligibility for or success in obtaining a loan or other credit product. As confirmed above, the decision to offer any loan or financial service is made by the lender or credit provider - we have no control over the decision making.

VIRUSES, HACKING AND OTHER OFFENCES

You must not misuse our website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server on which our website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our website. You must not attack our website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our website will cease immediately.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically, harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may revise these Terms at any time and you should periodically check the Website to review the then current Terms because they are binding on you.

We will always aim to offer every customer an excellent experience, however, if you do feel that we have not offered you a good service and you feel you would like to make a complaint about the service, then please send your comments to:
